About the Author

Elisa's first published book titled American Brother was chosen as a top ten finalist for the prestigious US Marine Corps Alexander Award for Excellent Writing. Her creative writing skills combined with her love of children and our country set fire to the creation of Patriot Pup. She was born and raised in WV. She has a degree from Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina, currently works and lives in Orlando, Florida and is the mother of three sons.
