About the Author

Alex Barker qualified as a home economist before becoming Cooking Editor of Woman's Own. She works as a food writer and runs a picture library, Food Features. Sally Mansfield is a chef, home economist and food writer. She works in radio and television, most recently on Food Factory and Ready Steady Cook.
