Ashley Cocksworth studied at the University of Edinburgh and then at Trinity College, Cambridge, where his doctoral work is on Karl Barth's theology of prayer. He has published articles on prayer in leading academic journals and is currently working on a co-edited volume on prayer with John C. McDowell.
