Qamar Zaman is a professor of precision agriculture at the Department of Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie University, Canada, and the vice-chancellor of the University of Arid Agriculture Rawalpindi, in Pakistan. He has authored more than 100 scientific research publications, several industry presentations and has reviewed and refereed research projects, papers, books, and articles from various journals and organizations. Dr. Zaman has over twenty-five years of experience in teaching, research and extension in precision agriculture from various national and international universities and international organizations, including the University of Agriculture (Pakistan), the University of New Castle upon Tyne (England), the University of Florida (USA), Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (Japan), and Dalhousie University (Canada).
