Jim has written several hundred articles for dozens of publications, including RECOIL OFFGRID, American Survival Guide, Boy's Life, and Field & Stream. He is also the editor in chief of Backwoods Survival Guide magazine. Jim lives in the upper Midwest with his beautiful wife and their assorted critters.
