Reviews

`Review from previous edition Alan Dixson has drawn together an impressive body of literature in this landmark volume.... Dixson's treatment is unusually inclusive across levels of analysis and activity. His reach is impressive, and he has sought to distil and review more than 2000 sources from a diverse literature.... Primate Sexuality is an essential starting point in this field, and a must for every primatologist's library.'
Professor Jeanne Altmann, Nature
`An extremely important source of information and ideas. There is no other book like it for primates, and I suspect none for any other Order.'
Professor Alexander Harcourt, University of California, Davis, USA
`A fascinating, comprehensive, up-to-date and unparalleled synthesis of our current knowledge about primate sexuality.'
Dr Andreas Paul, University of Göttingen, Germany
