Emma Milne qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Bristol
University, England, in 1996 and is best known for her appearances
on the UK television program Vets in Practice. She has since
appeared in numerous television and radio programs about wildlife
and animal welfare. Milne has written several books on animal
welfare, and her series of five children's pet care books, The Pet
Detective Series, teaches children that it's as important for pets
to be happy as to be healthy. She now lives in France.
Karen Wild is a full-time, qualified UK dog trainer and behavior consultant with more than seventeen years of experience. She has an honors degree and diploma in Psychology from the University of Nottingham, is a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors, and is an Associate Member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers. Karen deals with dog behavior problems in a family-oriented, practical way. Her experience includes class teaching, obedience, flyball, agility, and more. She formed her company Pawprint for behavioral consultations and training, and Intellidogs which specializes in online advice. Her passion is creating and rebuilding the "enjoyment factor" that can come from pet dog ownership. Karen's work with dogs and young people includes her program to bring more dogs into schools in the UK, as well as a focus on children and safety around dogs. She is a regular contributor to Dogs Today magazine and a blogger for Dr. Ian Dunbar's revolutionary Web site, Dog Star Daily.
