Euela O. Lane, the youngest of nine children, was born in a small town outside of Austin, Texas. A single mother who raised 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren, she was a Juvenile Probation Officer, teacher, and the organizer of a non-profit group called "Breaking the Cycle." Her most prestigious position was being called to preach the Gospel and serving in her church for over 10 years as an assistant minister. She made a promise to God to tell her story, but God called her home before she completed her task. Cheralyn L. Lane is the younger daughter of Euela O. Lane. She retired recently from serving the children of the Dallas Independent School District for 37 years, primarily in order to fulfill her promise to complete this book and get it published. This venture has deepened her faith in God and understanding that our life is not our own. We are to be used to glorify the Father. Through her mother's testimony of her trials and triumphs, He will be glorified.
