Celia Eddy discovered patchwork in the 1970s and was fascinated by the infinite design possibilities of mosaic pattern. She has been quilting ever since and is also a keen researcher of the history of patchwork and quilting in American and Brisith traditions. Celia is Acting Heritage Officer and coordinator of The British Quilt Study Group, and a member of The Quilter's Guild of the British Isles. In between giving lectures and writing articles on quilt history, tradition and designs, Celia runs her own on-line quilting and patchwork magazine, Quiltstory (www.quilt.co.uk). She has wirtten articles for various quilting magazines including The Quilter and Magic Patch, and has co-written The Quilter's Handbook.
