About the Author

Born in New York City of Charlestonian parents, he lived in The Hague, Holland, Charleston, SC, New York, NY, Darien, CT, Sacramento, CA, Manila and Davao, Philippines, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and now in the San Francisco Bay Area. A graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Business School, and a Korean War veteran, he had a business career in petroleum marketing and a family-owned foundry. He is married with four children and eleven grand-children.
