About the Author

Richard Cowley, now retired, worked worldwide in the merchant navy, aviation, oil exploration, petro chemical and construction industries, and finally management systems development. Some of these fields of employment were highly engaging and great fun, others, deadly dull and better forgotten.Richard, a Manxman, after more than forty years living and working Down Under, now calls Australia as home. Freedom from the daily routine and constraints of paid employment has enabled him to explore new creative activities, hence 'Retirement Blues - Goodbye, Along Wainwright's Coast to Coast path'
