About the Author

Max Buchdahl was born on March 20, 1996. An avid sports fan, he aspires to become a journalist later in life. That has not deterred him, though, from this ambitious project. Max also has a deep interest in genealogy and Jewish history, as you've read. After attending a Jewish day school through eighth grade, Max followed his love of writing to the George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology in Towson, Maryland. Through the acclaimed Literary Arts program there, he became Editor-in-Chief of the widely-read school newspaper. He will be continuing his studies at Temple University as a Journalism major. Max is a fan of mystery TV shows, and only cries when watching Field of Dreams.
