Constance Krail-Self is the author of Life in Hitler's Crosshairs. Her sequel, The Road To Hell, is inspired by stories from her life in Augsburg, Bavaria. Her mother's family emigrated from Poland, where her family owned a Polish butcher shop, and her father's from Germany. Having lived in Germany for several years, she heard many tales from survivors of WWII that are recounted in her novel. The author currently lives in Northern California with her family and pets.
