Dr Humayun Bakht is a lecturer and a researcher in computing sciences. His research interest is in Mobile Ad-hoc networking (MANET) in particular developing new routing algorithms for such networks. Dr. Bakht research findings have resulted in over fifty academic and non-academic publications. Some significant contributions of Dr. Bakht research are the classification of MANET into different ages and theory of centralization. He has earned PhD and MSc from Liverpool John Moores University and University of Liverpool in United Kingdom respectively. Dr.Bakht has also obtained BSc Electronics Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Bakht is the developer of Mobile Ad-hoc On-demand data delivery protocol (MAODDP) which is based on his presented theory of centralization. MAODDP has since then been extended to support related functions in Wireless Sensor's network. Dr. Bakht has previously published a book "Mobile Ad-hoc Networking" reflecting his research findings and experiences. Dr. Bakht recieves research students of various fields for consultations in their research projects. In his experiences, he has gathered information related to solutions of problems occur in a research program of study. Based on his knowledge and experiences he has formatted a "Guidelines structure" to assist students and professionals in their research projects. This presented book is a direct compilation of his research and consultancy experiences. It is written to assist researchers of any field in establishing a road map to a successful completion of a PhD program.
