About the Author

Sidney Lawrence is Guest Curator of the exhibition Roger Brown: Southern Exposure and a former Public Affairs Officer at the Smithsonian's Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C. He is the author of Roger Brown and Music in Stone: Great Sculpture Gardens of the World. His reviews and articles have appeared in The Washington Post, Art in America, Smithsonian, and The Wall Street Journal. Lee Gray is the Curator of Collections and Exhibitions at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art at Auburn University. Lisa Stone is Curator of the Roger Brown Study Collection of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
