Norris J. Lacy is Edwin Erle Sparks Professor of French and Medieval Studies at Pennsylvania State University, USA.

James J. Wilhelm is a leading scholar of medieval literature and twentieth-century poetry. He was formerly Professor of Comparative Literature at Rutgers University.
