Now in his mid-30s, Dave Anderson came to photography only after working in other fields. He worked in the Clinton White House, at MTV and in the independent film world. As a photographer, he has risen quickly to prominence. Anderson has been recognized as "one of the shooting stars of the American photo scene" by Germany's fotoMAGAZIN as well as being named to the prestigious "PDN 30" by Photo District News, a much anticipated annual list of 30 emerging photographers as the "ones to watch." He has won a number of awards, including the Santa Fe Center for Photography's National Project Competition. His work has been featured in numerous magazines and is in the collection of various museums.
