Birthdays and anniversaries are never easy to remember. The RHS Birthday Book is the place to keep all your important dates together so that you will never have to suffer the embarrassment of forgetting them again. The RHS Birthday Book showcases the work of Dutch artists held in the RHS's world famous Lindley Library. These include watercolors by Pieter van Kouwenhoorn, dating from c.1630s together with works from an album 'Flores a Petro Holsteyn ad vivum depicti' (c.1634-73) by the artist Pieter Holsteyn the younger. Other works include those by August Wilhelm Sievert (active 1720s-40s) from an album titles 'Hortus florum imaginun' dating from c.1730.

Dr. Brent Elliott is librarian and archivist to the Royal Horticultural Society and author of numerous articles and books. He has written introductions and captions to the RHS diaries since 1993. He is based in London.
