About the Author

Mary is a graduate of the University of Wyoming and proud to be a Cowboy. She loves writing and wrangling her small herd of characters and living in the cowboy state. Her hope is to share many of the life lessons she has learned from the horses she loves. Roslan is currently a Cowboy at the University of Wyoming and is studying to be an elementary art teacher. She spends her spare time enjoying the beautiful landscapes of Wyoming and creating art. Her bright and bold watercolor illustrations capture kids and parents hearts all over the world.

My daughter chose Rusty's Cowboy to read to the preschool classes at her school to help teach them about the western way of life. We loved the rhyming text, the beautiful illustrations and the life lessons. The kids absolutely loved it!!! I wish these books had been around when my girls were little.
