About the Author

Sally Ashbil - I was born In Cairo, Egypt in 1942. The single greatest thing my parents did was to emigrate to Australia in l948. My brother and I love this country and have called it home for 70 years. It is very hard to condense a life into a paragraph or two, suffice it to say I have experienced great happiness and enormous sorrow. 15 years ago I found my way to Esperance, Western Australia to a new life style and to retire in a peaceful little seaside town. Esperance has given me the theatre, the writers group and the opportunity to entertain. If I can bring a smile to someone's face I am well pleased.
