About the Author

Jan Simon is the Managing Partner of Vonzeo Capital Partners and the Academic Director of the International Search Fund Center at IESE Business School.His research on decision-making in hedge funds and their contribution to systemic risk has been published in academic journals such as the Journal of Network Theory in Finance and the British Journal of Management. It has also been discussed in the press by Bloomberg Businessweek, Financial News, Financial Times, The Hedge Fund Journal, and SCOPE. Findings were presented at the Bank of England, Harvard Business School, London School of Economics, Oxford University, andUniversité de Paris.His notes and case studies, some pertaining to search funds and entrepreneurial acquisitions, are published by IESE Publishing.
