About the Author

This play has been abridged by Joyce McPherson, the founding director of a Shakespeare troupe for young people, which has produced dozens of plays for the community. Her simple scripts have made the works of Shakespeare accessible, and she is now making them available to other groups who would like to experience Shakespeare's art from the inside.
