About the Author

Derrick Owings is a retired psychology teacher and poet who is extending his understanding of children as well as his writing creativity to books for children. This is the first of a series about a guardian angel named Shmoopy Moonpie. He credits his grand-children for his soul of inspiration and dedicates the Shmoopy series to them.
