Glenn Suokko is an independent book designer and photographer. For over twenty-five years Suokko Art + Design has designed and produced books for art museums, foundations, and publishers in the U.S. and Taipei, Taiwan. From 2005 to 2012 he created Pastoral, a series of bi-annual publications that feature profiles on creative individuals and organizations in Vermont. In 2009 he coauthored with Pia and Simon Pearce the successful book A Way of Living. From 2009 to 2013, he was an independent art director, writer, photographer, and creative director for Simon Pearce, Ltd. Simon Pearce started his glass business in Bennettsbridge, Ireland in 1971. He moved to America in 1980 to pursue his dream of creating handcrafted utilitarian glass using old world techniques and the finest raw materials. For nearly forty years, Simon Pearce's glass is famous for its luminosity and pure forms. Margaret Downes, formerly of Price Waterhouse Coopers, is a successful business executive who lives in Dublin, Ireland. She helped establish the Kilkenny Art and Design Center in the late 1960s.
