Elizabeth McIntosh was a war correspondent under Adm. Chester Nimitz's command and joined the OSS in 1943, conducting morale operations against the Japanese in Burma and China. She worked for the CIA from 1958 to 1973. Author of Undercover Girl and two children's books, she lives in Woodbridge, Virginia.
