Author Lucy Nolan is the author of several highly acclaimed picture
books, including A Fairy in a Dairy, The Lizard Man of Crabtree
County, and Jack Quack. Down Girl and Sit was inspired by her two
setters, Nutmeg and Becky. Ms. Nolan lives in Columbia, South
Carolina.
