About the Author

I was not taught the business side of the Beauty Industry which resulted in me leaving money on the table AND not filing taxes for two years! I lost money and decided (mind shift) to learn all that I could about the business of being self-employed. I started to see positive results in my bottom line. After ending my Cosmetology career, there was still much to learn and to my surprise, I used what was learned in my current role as an entrepreneur. I am reaching out to all in the Beauty Industry. As a former Cosmetologist for 16 years, my attention has been drawn to those in the profession who do not understand the benefits of filing taxes or how money works. My goal is to guide both the professionals and students so that good habits can be learned.
