Peilin Li is a professor of sociology and academician, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, chief editor of academic Journal Sociological Studies. His research interests include social development, social structure and social policies. He has published many monographs, including Chinese Society: Change and Transformation (Routledge, 2012).
