About the Author

Jason Michael Leggett holds a J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. He teaches Constitutional Law and The Judiciary at Kingsborough Community College and has published articles on culturally relevant teaching.

Helen-Margaret Nasser is the director of the Student Union and Intercultural Center, as well as the director of student life, at Kingsborough Community College. She holds a master's degree in political science from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
