R.J. Wade was born in Darlington, in the UK. She has worked as a market trader, a (very bad) double-glazing telesales person, a bookseller, a DJ, a guitarist/singer songwriter, a club promoter and a marketing manager.R.J. Wade's first novel, Aura - a YA dystopian sci-fi action adventure novel - was released in August 2019 and is available as an e-book, paperback and hardback. The Spark is the second book in the explosive YA trilogy.Becky lives in Darlington with her fiancée and rescue dog, dividing her time between writing, CrossFitting and launching marketing campaigns.
