For his botanical photography, Jonathan M. Singer has been honored with the Hasselblad Laureate Award and the Carl Linnaeus Silver Medal of the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences. Dr. Singer's appointments include that of Research Collaborator at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. He is the author or editor of seven books including Chrysanthemum Stones, The Story of Stone Flowers.
