The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) is where all officers

to live by the academy's motto- 'Serve to Lead'. Officers who have

send their personnel to Sandhurst for Officer training because it
is recognised as a world-leading military training academy.
Major General Paul Nanson CBE is a British Army officer who served
as Commandant of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and General

in Afghanistan, which saw him appointed a Commander of the Order of
the British Empire for distinguished services. In his tenure at

*Tim Peake, ESA astronaut*

*CHRIS EVANS, The Chris Evans Breakfast Show*
Brilliant, practical advice. Can help transform your mindset and
life.
*OLLIE OLLERTON, Ex-Special Forces Soldier, star of TV’s SAS: Who
Dares Wins, bestselling author of Break Point*
These military men are on to something. Something as simple as
making the bed really can change the mood of the day. Starting
right increases your chances of tacking the to-do list with a sense
of calm if not ease.

Paul Nanson shows us what works under the most testing conditions
[...] Nanson’s succinct text is light and portable, […] and will
travel far with you.
*THE TIMES EDUCATIONAL SUPPLEMENT*
I like the concept of Command Time, and the potential for using it
to validate any absence from my desk. “I’m taking Command Time!”
sounds so much more, well, commanding than muttering, “I’m just
nipping out,” so I’m pleased to hear Nanson has more of these
appellations up his well-ironed sleeve.
*SPECTATOR LIFE*
It’s a fascinating book, full of good old-fashioned common sense
[…] As the Sandhurst alumni include Winston Churchill and Tim
Peake, it’s a game-raiser.
*THIS ENGLAND*
This small book succinctly crystallises some quite fundamental
concepts, has emotional resonance, and may well be of significant
practical value. I strongly recommend it.
*WAVELL ROOM*
Sometimes, the pen can still be as mighty as the sword.
