The Star, The Cross, And The Crescent Whenever you talk about somebody else's religion, obviously you're at a little bit of a disadvantage. If you are Muslim or Jewish, I assure you, you could do a better job at this than I'll do. I simply ask and pray for your grace as I talk about a subject very few of us understand. If you're a fellow Christian, let me assure you, by the end of this little book, some of you will think I went a little too far one way. Some of you might think I didn't go far enough. If that's the case, then I did exactly what I am trying to do, which is to go right down the middle and to talk as a Westerner about a religion that very few of us have much understanding of. The truth is, most of what we think and believe about Isalm is what we have deciphered through the media. You know as well as I do, the media only talks about Judaism, Islam or Christianity when there's something giant and disruptive to talk about. Yet, these three religions have a lot of differences and a lot of peculiarities. You need to know too, this book is not intended to be exhaustive. There are resources listed at the end to use for further study. My intent is to briefly explore the history of these three religions and their impact on our world.
