About the Author

M. Yvonne Jones has been writing poetry since 1997. With a bit of prodding from her friends and family, she decided to give serious consideration to writing professionally. An avid reader, Ms. Jones finds inspiration in the works of the late Dr. Maya Angelou, Nikki Giovanni, e.e. cummings, Charlotte Bronte, and Edgar Alan Poe. She is a fan of 18th century British poetry and enjoys helping others develop their own artistic interests. She is devoted to increasing the literacy rate of the global community and delights in reading a variety of works. After spending over a decade writing and performing poetry, she introduced the world to the Baptiste family saga trilogy.
