About the Author

Brittany Maylyn Du Bois was born on the small island of Trinidad & Tobago. After moving to the United States, her interest in writing began the moment she was able to press pen to paper. She grew up with discrimination and identity-confusion, as being a mixed child of interracial parents and an immigrant in the early 21st century was still a curious matter. Former Literary Arts student of the magnet high school, Carver Center for Arts and Technology, she fully recognizes that the best way to share true human experience is to have someone experience it with her and through her. This is her first novel.
