Abi Aghayere, Ph.D., PE is a professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology and co-author of two other textbooks in the field of structural engineering. He is the winner of RIT’s Eisenhart Award for Outstanding Teaching, 2004-05, and a 2003 Best Paper Award from the American Society for Engineering Education. He has over twenty years experience in the analysis and design of a wide variety of building structures in Canada and the United States.
Jason Vigil, PE is a structural engineering consultant in Rochester, NY and is an adjunct professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also the co-author of Structural Wood Design: A Practice Oriented Approach.
