About the Author

Violet Favero, aka Silly Yaya, is the author of the "Silly Yaya" series. Her first book of the series, Silly Yaya has had great success. It's the story about the special names children call their grandparents. The second book, Sunday Dinner at Silly Yaya's tells the story of the traditional family Sunday Dinner. Violet who was raised in a traditional Greek/Italian family has spent her life caring for others. She is well known for her Sunday Dinners and her lavish holiday gatherings. After an early retirement, she pursued her dream of writing a children's picture book. Violet currently resides in FL with her husband and two Italian Greyhounds and is the proud grandmother of eight granddaughters.
