Screenwriter, author, and former English professor, Diana Stout, MFA, Ph.D. is an award-winning writer of multiple genres. She's written fiction, nonfiction, newspaper and magazine columns, plays, poetry, and screenplays, and has written for both adults and children. Her scripts, novels, and novellas include romance, drama, literary, historical, and fantasy. This cookbook evolved due to severe three-day induced migraines, an allergy to onions, which were discovered in nearly all commercial food products and many restaurant food items. The list of foods she couldn't eat was long at the time. As a result, Diana created her own recipes and mixes. While she no longer has those same allergies today, now grains have become a problem, thus the creation of new recipes. Fortunately, sugar was never attributed to any allergy, much to Diana's relieve. She admits that while the dessert section is rarely used, that section still contains some of her best go-to recipes whenever the sweet tooth rises up, demanding attention. In her spare time, she enjoys lunching with friends, always on the hunt for new additions to her collection of favorite recipes.
