About the Author

Iain Manley is originally from Cape Town, South Africa, and has spent the last ten years between Europe and Asia - literally. In 2006 and 2007, he traveled from London to Shanghai overland and plans to resume his transcontinental wandering later this year. Iain studied journalism and literature at the University of Cape Town. His travel writing has appeared in many publications, such as The Daily Telegraph and his own award-winning travel blog, oldworldwandering.com. Tales of Old Singapore is his first book.
