George Graham, PhD, has been on the faculty at Virginia Tech since 1985, where he is a professor in the division of health and physical education. Dr. Graham has been a member of Virginia Tech's Academy of Teaching Excellence since 1992. Dr. Graham has published extensively on the topics of physical education teacher effectiveness and physical education for children, with 12 books and monographs and more than 50 articles to his credit. He is a sought-after speaker and consultant, having delivered presentations at more than 100 conferences throughout the world, including more than 25 keynote addresses. He has served as a consultant to 70 school districts, the United States Tennis Association and the Professional Golf Association.
