Dr. Sameh Iskander is a research affiliate at
the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World at New York
University. He is also co-director of the of the New York
University project on the Ramesses II temple in Abydos, and
President Emeritus of the American Research Center in Egypt.
Dr. Ogden Goelet is a research affiliate at the

and co-director of the New York University project on the Ramesses
