About the Author

Richard Bauckham (PhD, University of Cambridge) is professor of New Testament studies and Bishop Wardlaw Professor at the University of St. Andrews and a Fellow of the British Academy. He is the author of numerous volumes, including Jesus and the Eyewitnesses: The Gospels as Eyewitness Testimony and Bible and Mission: Christian Witness in a Postmodern World.
