About the Author

Miguel Carvalho Abrantes lives near Lisboa (Portugal). He is a PhD candidate in Classics, but he has many interests in life - Ethnography, Comparative Mythology, Philosophy, finding unusual places to visit, and old books - and that's what his works are all about, sharing his passions and knowledge with others. From his "What to Visit in Portugal" collection, filled with native insider tips and obscure places to visit; up to his advanced "Themes of the Trojan Cycle", a Master thesis planned to complement the storyline of the Homeric Epics; along with his satirical works on love; his compilation of Portuguese poetry, the "Parnaso"; and multiple translations of primary sources; there is something for everyone in his books!
