About the Author

Eighty-year-old author Richard Corley Massey began writing as an English major and hasn't stopped since. A native of North Carolina, with ancestral roots tying him to South Carolina, he's happily married and blessed with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Before retiring, he pursued various careers, including a teaching stint, one tour of active duty as a radar officer with aircraft carrier squadrons, three parish assignments, and twenty years as a mental health counselor. An avid runner since high school, his knees have forced him to switch his focus to gentle activism, shading toward left wing.

Through the years, Massey has always valued time with family and is glad to be related to such an interesting and talented group of people.
