About the Author

A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Gail L. Winfree has lived in Germany since 1974. He lives in an old farmhouse in the Palatinate with wife Monika, four pugs, and numerous cats. Mr. Winfree currently works for the USO and writes about the local area. His first book, K-town: A City Guide, was published in 1987. You can find more of his work at www.winfree-online.com. This is his first collection of poems and short fiction.
