Born in Kinsale, Ireland, John Ahern now lives is South Australia but soon to be on the move again. Meanwhile he sails his Hobie 16 in the Gulf St Vincent with his adopted friend Chloe 'the brave little dog', and still practices 'Classical Gas' on his guitar.
