Melanie Walsh studied at the Harrow School of Art and the Royal College of Art before working as a textile designer. She is now an author/illustrator of children's books, including My World, Your World; My Nose, Your Nose; Munch, Munch; Hop, Skip, Jump! and the Parents' Gold Choice Award-winning Do Pigs Have Stripes? She lives in London.
