About the Author

Heather Gayle is the pen name of the author who has been married for 35 years and is the mother of three adult children. She has 2 daughters and a son who like their parents are avid readers. They also have a dog named Buddy who loves to cuddle as she writes. She has been a teacher for over 20 years and has taught both elementary grades and preschool where she currently works as she encourages the next generation of readers to love literature. She enjoys crafts, baking, and gardening although her favorite activity is reading. She has lived in several states but loves West Virginia best with her favorite vacation spot being Ocracoke Island, North Carolina.
