I've enjoyed the down to earth settings and the believable characters. What started out as a thriller with a lot of mystery has become a turbo charged final sequence. Events are taking place in the same night and that pushes the story along at a breathless pace.If you enjoyed 'The Bay' you'll definitely enjoy this as it's a far superior story. Each book builds on the last with a great pace that's entertaining throughout. Highly recommended, couldn't put down and great to see some sympathetic writing to this up and coming town.This is the third book in the Morecambe Bay trilogy and does not stand alone- why not read the series? Book one is Left for Dead, book two is Circle of lies. All three have earnt 5 * from me. Three gripping reads that I wanted to turn faster and faster to find out what happened.
