Anne Rowe is a freelance landscape historian. As well as being the author of Tudor and Early Stuart Parks of Hertfordshire (2019), she is the co-author, with Tom Williamson, of Hertfordshire: A landscape history (University of Hertfordshire Press, 2013). She co-ordinates the research work of the Hertfordshire Gardens Trust, is president of the East Herts Archaeological Society and lectures on various aspects of the county's landscape and garden history.
